Claude E. Lavaron III, CLI, became a Florida Licensed Private Investigator in
1974 and founded EX-CEL INVESTIGATIONS®
in 1977. Mr. Lavaron is a former Florida Highway Patrol Trooper, and very active
in the day to day operations of the agency.
EX-CEL® is now registered with the United States Patent and Trademark Office.
In 1997, Mr. Lavaron became one of approximately 105 Certified Legal Investigators Nationally. The National Association of Legal Investigators, Inc., sets national standards for Legal Investigators and confers the designation CERTIFIED LEGAL INVESTIGATOR only upon those who meet professional requirements and who successfully pass stringent written and oral examinations. The designation, Certified Legal Investigator, is a most honored and sought - after credential. Once conferred, Certified Legal Investigators must advance their professional careers by earning continuing educational credits and by maintaining the high standards of the CLI program.
In March 1999, Mr. Lavaron became one of the first Florida Certified Investigators. In 2002 The South Florida Investigator's Association presented Mr. Lavaron with their "Professionalism and Distinguished Service" award. In 2007 he was presented with the Florida Certified Investigator of the year award.
EX-CEL INVESTIGATIONS® is regulated and licensed by the Florida Department of Agriculture and holds Florida License # A 0001037.
We also serve PROCESS and legal documents in
Pinellas, Pasco and Hillsborough County, Florida.
EX-CEL Investigation® is
located in St. Petersburg which is on the West Coast of Florida, just West of
Tampa. When you contact our office, you are always greeted with our own
professional personnel, who are willing to answer any questions or schedule a

Brenda joined our agency in 1992; she eagerly accepted new responsibilities and
became a licensed Investigator in 1995. In May 2001, Brenda earned her
Associates Arts Degree, in Business. She regularly attends continuing
educational courses and seminars keeping up to date with advances in computer
technology, investigative and surveillance techniques in addition to the ever
changing industry and legal system. Brenda has a keen knack for finding hidden
assets and locating missing people. She possesses a great quality that affords
her the ability to obtain the most difficult witness statements. Brenda's
commitment to professional ethics as well as a quality product, makes her an
invaluable asset not only to EX-CEL®
but also to the Investigative Profession.

Judy is our office manager and has been with EX-CEL®
since the first client hired our Agency in 1977. She is responsible for all of
the Legal Process that is received and served by our office in addition to
handling the accounting. Her continuing dedication, attention to detail, and
general office management skills makes her an asset to EX-CEL®.
She regularly attends continuing educational seminars keeping up to date on the
latest changes in the Service of Process laws.
